ABOUT US

Ceiriog Valley Park is a small, family-run business offering a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the stunning Glyn Ceiriog valley.

You might think of Ceiriog Valley Park as its own, secluded patch of natural beauty – and you would be right.

We have the lovely River Ceiriog running alongside the park offering a wonderful natural backdrop, and views of the beautiful, wooded hillsides. There is a lovely riverwalk next to the park, great for dog walking, and is excellent for children to run off some energy or just for a quiet walk. There is plenty of wildlife around the park. Otters have been spotted and herons are regular guests as well as dippers, Kingfishers can be spotted if you are lucky and there are plenty of different species of birds, and buzzards patrol the hillsides, you will often hear the owls calling at night.

David Lloyd George thoughts
On CEIRIOG VALLEY PARK

The Ceiriog Valley was described by David Lloyd George as “A little bit of heaven on earth”.

He was understandably taken with the breath taking beauty and stunning – sometimes rugged – local scenery. The river Ceiriog flows through the valley and has a wonderful waterfall some miles up the valley from Llanarmon DC. Ancient woods adorn the hillsides, and the area is full of fantastic walks for people of all ages and abilities.
